Accepted Proof of Address Documents for Bujeti Onboarding

Submitting the right proof of address on Bujeti.

Written by Lambert Eboite

To complete Bujeti onboarding, you must submit a proof of address document no older

than 3 months. This confirms your registered business location and satisfies Nigeria's KYC/KYB compliance requirements. Accepted documents include utility bills, bank statements, internet bills, lease agreements, and official government letters.

Why Is Proof of Address Required?

Bujeti is regulated under Nigerian financial laws and must verify your business address as part of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) compliance. Submitting a valid proof of address helps us:

  • Confirm your business physically operates at a real, verifiable location

  • Protect your account against fraudulent activity

  • Meet Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations

  • Unlock full account features and higher transaction tiers

  • Unmodified: Submit the original document directly from its source. No editing, cropping, or annotations.
