How to Add a Subsidiary Company on Bujeti

Learn how to add and manage subsidiary companies using Bujeti's multi-entity feature.

Managing multiple business entities under one parent company? Bujeti lets you add subsidiary companies to your account so you can track finances separately for each entity while maintaining centralized visibility and control—all from one login.

What you'll gain:

Steps to Add a Subsidiary Company

Step 1: Log in to your Bujeti dashboard at dashboard.bujeti.com

  • Scroll down to your profile section in the left sidebar

  • Click the three dots (⋮) next to your company nam

  • Select "Add a subsidiary" from the dropdown menu

Step 2: You'll be directed to a screen showing available entity options for your new subsidiary.

  • Review the available entity types when you search and select your new subsidiary company from the list or click on “Add company manually”

  • Fill the form and Click "Confirm company details" to proceed to the setup form

Step 3: After submitting company details, you'll complete the verification process.

A. Add Director Information:

  1. Enter director's full name (as on ID)

  2. Add director's email address

  3. Upload director's ID:

    • BVN (Bank Verification Number), or

    • NIN (National Identity Number), or

    • International Passport

  4. Provide director's phone number

B. Invite Team Members:

  1. Click "Invite members"

  2. Enter team members' email addresses

  3. Assign their roles:

    • Admin – Full control over subsidiary

    • Manager – Can approve and make payments

    • Member – Can request and view budgets

  4. Click "Send invitations"

Important: Names must match exactly across all documents. "ABC Limited" and "ABC Ltd" are treated as different names.
