Chaser is your accounts receivable Teammate. It follows up on your overdue invoices automatically, across email, SMS, and WhatsApp, so you get paid faster and no one on your team has to send another reminder by hand. When a customer replies with a question or a dispute, Chaser routes it to a person instead of answering on its own. It also nudges your team about uncategorised transactions and missing proof of payment, keeping your records clean.
Setting up Chaser
Step 1: Log in to your Bujeti Dashboard and at the sidebar, click Ask BRAIN.
BRAIN introduces you to each of your teammates in turn. Click through the carousel until you reach Planner, the last teammate, then click Let's get to work.
From the sidebar, select Chaser. On the welcome screen, click Unlock full feature to activate it for your workspace.
Step 2: Open the Schedules tab and click New schedule in the top right corner.
Give the schedule a Schedule name and a Sender name, choose what it Applies to (Internal or External), and set the Grace days before chaseable. If it's an internal schedule, pick which item types Chaser should chase, then toggle Send automatically if you want reminders to go out without manual approval.
Click Create schedule. Bujeti adds it to your list, where you can expand it to see each stage's offset, channel, and tone, and send a test reminder before it goes live.
Step 3: Create a message template by navigating to Templates and click New template.
Enter a Template name, choose a Channel (Email or SMS), and pick a Tone (Gentle, Firm, Urgent, or Legal). Write the Subject and Body, using variables like {{customer_name}}, {{invoice_number}}, and {{amount}} to personalise each message automatically.
Click Create template. It appears in your Templates list, where you can preview, edit, or delete it from the three-dot menu at any time.
Step 4: Open the Settings & Timing tab to fin tune.
Under Timing, toggle Pause reminders on weekends if you'd rather Chaser queue reminders and send them on Monday instead. Under Sender identity, set the Sender name so messages read as coming from your team.
Scroll to Internal follow-ups and toggle it on to let Chaser nudge your staff about uncategorised transactions, missing proof of payment, and incomplete reimbursements. Set the Grace days for each item type and switch it On.
Click Save settings once you're done.
With your schedules, templates, and settings in place, Chaser starts working in the background. Check the Being Chased tab to see which invoices are currently in a sequence, and Needs Attention for anything Chaser has flagged for a human to handle, such as a customer reply or a dispute.
