A sub-account on Bujeti, as the name implies, is a subset of the parent/main account. This feature enables you to create distinct, smaller accounts within a larger parent account.

By doing so, you can organise your finances more effectively and assign account managers to oversee each sub-account.

This structure provides greater flexibility and control, ensuring that each sub-account can be managed independently while still being part of the overall financial system.

Step 1: On the Overview page of your Bujeti Dashboard, Navigate to the side bar and click on Accounts.

Step 2: Click on Add Account at the top right hand of your screen.

Step 3: Select the Create Sub-account option on the dropdown.

Step 4, you'll need to provide key details to set up your new account correctly:

  • Subaccount Name: This is the name you want to assign to the account, based on its specific purpose (e.g., "Marketing Expenses" or "Project Savings").

  • Parent Account: Select the main account under which this sub-account will be organized, if applicable.

  • Account Type: Choose the type of account you're creating, such as a savings or checking account, depending on your needs.

  • Account Manager(s): Assign who will manage or have access to this account. You can add multiple managers if needed.

Step 5: Click Create Sub-account.
