Method 1: Type in recipient details manually
Step 1 : Log in to your dashboard and navigate to Accounts or Transactions and click Send funds button in the top-right corner.
You'll see four options: Single payment, Batch payments, Schedule payment, and Schedule batch payment. Select Batch payment to continue.
Step 2: On the 'Make a new payment' screen, enter a Batch name at the top.
Then in the 'Type in details' section, fill in the first row: select the Bank name, enter the Account number, the recipient's Name auto-populates after validation.
Scroll to your right and select the Source of fund (account or budget to debit), enter the Amount, description and optionally select a Category.
Click + Add another at the bottom right to add each additional recipient row. Repeat for all recipients, then click Save to proceed to the review screen.
Method 2: Upload a CSV or XLSX file
Step 1: Click the Download template card on the right side of the upload area. This gives you the official CSV/XLSX file with the correct column headers.
Open the downloaded file and populate each row with: Recipient name, Account number, Bank name, Bank code, Amount, Category (optional), Email (optional), and Description (optional). Each row = one payment.
Save the file on your device, then return to Bujeti and either drag & drop the file into the upload area or click Browse file.
Note: Do not rename or reorder the column headers in the template or use your own template. Bujeti requires the exact format to parse your file correctly
Step 2: Verify all recipient rows are correct — bank name, account number, amount, and source of fund. Select the Source of fund for any rows where it wasn't pre-filled, then click Save.
The 'Transactions review' screen lists all recipients with their amounts, account numbers, bank names, and categories. Check each row carefully. You can also toggle 'Schedule or set up recurring payment' here if needed. When ready, click Submit.
A confirmation modal appears showing the total Amount, Fees, and the final Total (amount + fees). Review the figures carefully, then click Confirm to authorise the batch. Click the Batches tab to see your batch with its status (Processing or Success) alongside all previous batches.
Note: If your organisation has approval workflows enabled, the batch will be routed for approval before processing. You'll receive a notification once it's approved and fulfilled.
