Written by Lambert Eboite

Step 1 : Log in to your dashboard and navigate to Accounts or Transactions and click Send funds button in the top-right corner.

  • You'll see four options: Single payment, Batch payments, Schedule payment, and Schedule batch payment. Select Single payment to continue.

  • Click the currency selector (default shows NGN) and choose USD from the dropdown. Available currencies are NGN, USD, and KES.

  • Enter the payment amount or tap one of the quick-select amount chips. Confirm the currency (e.g. NGN) is correct, then click Continue.

Tax Inclusive toggle: When enabled, Bujeti treats the amount you enter as already including tax — meaning the tax portion is extracted from the total rather than added on top. Leave this off unless your payment amount is tax-inclusive.

Step 2: Under the Accounts tab, select your USD account as the source (e.g. USD Operations — ···1949 🇺🇸). Confirm the available balance is sufficient, then click Continue.

  • Choose who you are paying : The 'Who are you paying?' screen shows your saved USD beneficiaries. Select the recipient , or click Pay a new recipient to enter new US bank details manually. Then click Continue.

    • When adding new recipient manually, choose a Transfer method

Under Payment details, click the Transfer method dropdown and select Wire, Swift, or ACH. The fields below update to match the selected method.

    • If you select Wire or ACH, enter the:

      • Account name *: Recipient's full account name as registered at their bank.

      • Bank name *: Name of the recipient's bank (e.g. Lead Bank, Chase, Wells Fargo).

      • Account number *: The recipient's US bank account number.

      • Routing number *: The 9-digit ABA routing number for the recipient's bank.

    • If you select Swift, enter the:

      • Account name *: Recipient's full account name.

      • Bank name *: Name of the recipient's bank.

      • Swift Code/BIC *: The recipient bank's SWIFT/BIC code (8 or 11 characters).

      • IBAN/Account number *: The IBAN or account number for the recipient.

      • Bank's country *: Country where the recipient's bank is located.

Step 3: Select a payment category and add any additional details. You can also add an internal memo/description for your own records. Click Continue when done.

  • Review your payment details and click Continue once done.

  • Enter your PIN to authorise: A PIN pad will appear. Enter your 4-digit transaction PIN to authenticate and submit the payment

  • A confirmation screen shows 'Your money is on the way!' Click See Transaction details to view the record, or use the quick-action buttons to Pay another vendor, Request funds, or Send new

Only accounts holding the matching currency (USD) will appear as valid sources when USD is selected. Your NGN accounts will not be selectable for USD payments.

When Swift is selected, the fields change from Account number/Routing number to Swift Code/BIC and IBAN , make sure you have the correct details for international transfers before selecting this method.
