How to Purchase Airtime or Mobile Data on Bujeti

Learn how to buy airtime or mobile data for any phone number directly from Bujeti Bills Pay. The purchase is debited from your chosen Bujeti account and recorded automatically as a bill in your Bills list.

Step 1: Log in to your dashboard and navigate to Expenses, then select Bills. The Bills Pay page shows your bills list with status cards (Overdue, Pending, Approved, Draft, Paid). Click the Pay a bill button in the top-right corner.

  • Select Purchase airtime or mobile data : a panel opens. Choose Purchase airtime or mobile data β€” supported networks (Airtel, Glo, MTN) are shown on the option.

  • Select what you're buying: Top up airtime to recharge call credit, or Purchase mobile data to buy a data bundle.

Step 2: Enter the top-up amount and click Continue and then enter a phone number.

  • Bujeti automatically detects the network (Airtel, MTN, or GLO) based on the number prefix. If the detected network is wrong, select the correct one under Choose another network. Optionally check Save this number for future top-ups, then click Continue.

    • For data, select the data bundle would you like to purchase?

  • Choose the source account or budget on the 'Where are you paying from?' screen. You can switch between Accounts and Budgets using the tabs. Select the account, then click Continue.

  • Add payment category and narration

  • A 'Top up successful!' confirmation screen appears with an 'Airtime bill created' toast at the bottom. The top-up is now processing and will appear in your Bills list. Click Finish or use the suggested next steps to continue.
